Yathi winja (Good day) My name is Leah Cummins, I am a proud Mayi woman from North-Western Queensland. Mayi-Kulan from my father and Kalkadoon from my mother.

I'm a full-time Indigenous artists living in Brisbane. I am the business owner of Bunya Designs been operating for a year.

For the past 11 years I have worked in oil and gas as a geoscientist and 10 years mineral exploration. I have over 20 years’ experience in the mineral and resource sector with a diploma and spatial information systems and a bachelors in geographical information systems with ten years data management and database management experience.

For the past 11 years I've been working part time as a consultant doing capacity building within Indigenous organisations to upskill in the information technology and data management space from website building to cultural heritage management and spatial information.

I have a passion for capacity building within indigenous organisations strive to educate Non-Indigenous people about Indigenous issues.
